SUPERSLUMP is usually used
in the production of high fluidity concrete [such as
self-compacting concrete] and high strength concrete having
low W/C.
SUPERSLUMP consists of
SUPERSLUMP-PN, SUPERSLUMP-PR and SUPERSLUMP –AF is a
high-range water reducing type superplasticizer which shows
excellent performance in water reduction.
To improve slump retention in
concrete, it is recommended that SUPERSLUMP-PN should be
used with SUPERSLUMP-PR by proper ratio. Generally, the
ratio of SUPERSLUMP-PR to SUPERSLUMP-PN at fixed total
dosage increases, slump [or slump flow] retention is
improved, while initial slump [or slump flow] decreases. The
appropriate ratio of SUPERSLUMP –PR to SUPERSLUMP-PN should
be determined by the test at a certain mixture proportion of
concrete.
SUPERSLUMP-AF is an
anti-foaming agent which is used with SUPERSLUMP-PN or
SUPERSLUMP-PR. SUPERSLUMP-AF is compatible with
Polycarboxylate type superplasticizer and most
air-entraining agent, especially with Vinsol type [we
recommend] air-entraining agent.
SUPERSLUMP is consisted of
three components such as SUPERSLUMP-PN, SUPERSLUMP-PR and
SUPERSLUMP-AF. SUPERSLUMP-PN is a high range water reducing
type Superplasticizer which shows excellent performance in
superplasticizing the concrete especially at early age. It
also shows excellent performance in slump (slump flow)
retention in high fluidity concrete without slump retention
type Superplasticizer (SUPERSLUMP-PR).
To improve slump retention
in medium-fluidity concrete or low-fluidity concrete, It is
recommended that SUPERSLUMP-PN should be used with
SUPERSLUMP-PR by proper ratio. Generally, the ratio
SUPERSLUMP-PR of increases, slump (or slump retention)
is improved while initial slump (or slump flow) decreases.
The appropriate ratio of SUPERSLUMP-PR to SUPERSLUMP-PN
should be determined by the test at a certain mix proportion
of concrete.

Water Reduction of
Superslump
- PN
Effect of Superslump-WR
on water reduction was compared to that of PNS.
Water reduction was tested by mini-slump
method.
For a given dosage, W/C ratio was controlled to
give target paste flow of 13 + 0.5 cm.
Solid content of
Superslump and PNS was 40%
